Monster Boy

(he/him) Fabric Sculptor

Monster Boy creates felted sculptures that tell stories of his experiences while relating to folklore legends. His art expresses how it feels to have a trans-male body, and how dehumanizing that can be.
Using the soft material of wool to face the ‘soft-boy’ stereotype that comes along with being a transgender man. Finding that kinship in felt, he uses it to face his own fears of being viewed as more feminine for creating with textiles.
